Glenn VandeGrift has been involved in Construction Management since a young age: with early beginnings working at a regional mechanical contracting business. Here he learned the keys to the business: integrity, hard work, and excellent customer service. These fundamental values have been held close throughout his career and continue through today as he leads the construction operations at Allied.
Glenn received his Bachelors in Business Administration and Accounting from Delaware Valley University, and continued his education in finance.
Glenn's management style is based on simple principles; building and assuring a continued culture of accountability with clients and team members while simultaneously striving to contribute to constructing better facilities.
Glenn says, "My favorite part of working at Allied is the continued dedication to customer service, industry innovation, and the strong culture of collaboration and teamwork."
Outside of work Glenn enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
George Wiker has been involved in design and engineering as well as construction management for 30 years.
Jeffrey Sywulak has had a marked interest in carpentry since a young age – through childhood it was his favorite hobby. As he grew older, that hobby developed into his career goal and he fully embraced the world of construction. Starting at the bottom as a laborer in the family contracting business, Jeff has worked hard every day to expand his skills and move his way up through the ranks.
Jeff attended Lock Haven University for math education, knowing that it would only help him more fully understand the technical side of the business.
Now Jeff thrives as a field leader at Allied, successfully completing projects while keeping his team on track and on time. He especially enjoys teaching what he’s learned to his guys and seeing them grow and succeed.
Jeff says “Working at Allied is less like a job and more of a lifestyle. Being surround by people that share the same passion and drive for providing clients with top level service and production really makes going to work every day enjoyable.”
Outside of work you will usually find Jeff doing improvement projects at his home or on the ball field with his team.
Julio comes to Allied with 18 years of experience as a Superintendent. Julio brings an effective goal orientated leadership style and organization to the projects he manages that he imparts on each member of the project team.
Julio has a proven track record of managing face pace life science projects from plant shutdowns through 25,000 sqft full design build projects.
Julio says his favorite part of working with Allied is having the ability to always be empowered to do whats best for the project team regardless the situation.
Outside of work you will find Julio on a beach, he enjoys traveling and seeing the world.
Mark Pattinson has been involved in commercial and industrial construction for over 30 years.
Mark started his construction career working in the Greater Chicago Area. In the early 1990's Mark started his own construction corporation he successfully managed for over 20 years.
In 2012 Mark sold his business and transitioned into the construction management field.
In addition to his career accomplishments Mark enjoys fishing, motorcycles, traveling and camping.
Jose Garcia, P.E.
Jose has over 20 years experience estimating and managing life science projects.
Jose has extensive hands on experience managing design consulting, cost control, estimating, planning & scheduling, procurement, contract admin and field supervision.
Jose has worked from conceptual design through construction, comissioning and turn over of facilities within chemical and microbiology laboratories, warehouses, utilities, and life science clients.
Outside of work Jose likes to spend time with his family
Ken has been involved with construction and oversight of facilities from the start of his career.
Ken received his education from Clemson University in South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Ken's career started on the mechanical engineering side in the packaging side of the business, later transitioning to project management.
Ken has managed all aspects of the project spectrum serving life sciences, biopharma, and industrial clients.
Outside of work Ken enjoys spending time with his family in South Carolina
Gus has worked in construction from his early beginnings in the business to now leading projects for some of the largest clients in the Life Science and Food and Beverage sectors of which Allied serves.
Gus brings a pragmatic management style, always ensuring safety, communication, and quality of customer experience is paramount.
David has worked in construction since the start of his career.
David's work ethic is simple, do what you say and always be accountable
David has led some of the most technical projects Allied has performed
David remains focused on Safety, Customer Service, and pride of work
Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his family and friends in Northern New Jersey
Mike is an experienced construction management professional with 35 years in the industry. Mike's career started in the electrical field where he worked from an apprentice through becoming a business owner and electrical contractor.
Mike leverages his expansive experience from small service and shutdowns through complex campus expansion projects.
Outside of work Mike enjoys hunting, fishing and the Green Bay Packers
Bob has been working in life sciences serving Bio Pharma clients for over 40 years, first starting on the project management side for one of the first Design Build modular contractors that brought its technology Stateside from the UK.
Bob brings knowledge and experience to Allied's estimating group that is unrivaled.
Outside of work Bob enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Joe Bue Herrera
Joel has over 25 years experience working in specialty life science modular construction.
Joe's vibrant personality and excellent knowledge of modular systems enables him to impart his knowledge and experience on the crews and job-sites of which he manages.
Joe has managed modular installations for some of the worlds largest companies throughout North America and the Caribbean
